Project Natal: A New Way To Play

Microsoft announced Project Natal for X Box 360 last week at E3(Electronic Entertainment Expo) in Los Angeles and it has impressed E3 crowds.

Natal is full-body motion capture & voice recognition system intended to change the way we interact with Xbox 360.
It is like a EyeToy For Playstation 2 & 3 but so much better, people say.
Project Natal tracks your full body movement in 3-D, while responding to commands, directions, even a difference of emotion in your voice.

-CURIOSITY-
Microsoft traditionally uses cities as code names.
As a result, Alex Kipman, who incubated the project and is Brazilian, choose Natal as a tribute to Brazil.

Microsoft hasn't given a release date for Project Natal yet.So we'll have to wait to see...

The Xbox 360 is the successor to the Xbox, and competes with the PlayStation 3 and the Wii as part of the new generation of video games.

SingStar is a competitive karaoke video game series for PlayStation 2/PlayStation 3.

Basically, what you have to do is to sing a song. The lyrics come up on the screen and you follow the colour code according to your mic colour.

Usually, it is played by 2 people but you can play on your own or with a group of people if you want. If you choose the multiplayer mode, up to 8 players can play at the same time.

The PlayStation 3 version of SingStar introduced some online features accessed through the PlayStation Network:
-Users are able to purchase songs online from the SingStore.
-The game records photos and videos of players singing with the PlayStation Eye (an USB camera for Playstation), which can be saved to the PlayStation's HD or uploaded to the My SingStar Online network. Then,users can rate each others performances and leave comments on other people's profiles.
